100-HR Chandra Krama Teacher Training

100-Hour Moon Sequence Program

The Chandra Krama Teacher Training is an in-depth study of the Moon Sequence developed by Matthew Sweeney.

This program explores a balanced and therapeutic approach to yoga practice that complements more dynamic forms of yoga. The Moon Sequence is a slow, flowing practice that integrates elements of vinyasa and restorative movement to support awareness, relaxation, and intelligent progression in yoga practice.

Originally designed as a counterbalance to physically demanding sequences, this practice encourages practitioners to move with greater sensitivity, cultivate steadiness in the breath, and develop a more sustainable relationship with practice.

Through this training, students will learn how the Moon Sequence can support recovery, balance, and long-term development in yoga practice.

What You Will Study

This program explores the principles and structure of the Moon Sequence while developing the knowledge required to teach it safely and effectively.

Students will explore:

  • the philosophy and intention behind the Moon Sequence
  • the structure and progression of the practice
  • intelligent sequencing and modifications
  • breath awareness within flowing practice
  • therapeutic aspects of the sequence
  • teaching methodology for guiding the practice

Participants will also study how this sequence can be integrated into a broader yoga practice, whether as a stand-alone class or as a complementary practice alongside other yoga traditions.

The training includes practical sessions, teaching methodology, anatomical understanding, and guided teaching practice.
