Inversion Workshop Bangkok — 15-Hour Intensive with Kru Jai

Date:
September 20, 2026
Location:
Sukhumvit

A 15-hour deep-dive into Headstand, Forearm Stand, Handstand, and advanced variations with Kru Jai — the module students loved most from our 50-HR Advanced Asana course, now standalone.

Every course has a moment students remember most. In the 50-HR Advanced Asana course with Kru Jai, that moment was Inversion week. Students who had spent years avoiding headstands left that module attempting handstands. It was, by a clear margin, the part of the course people talked about afterward — and asked for more of.

So we built more of it.

FROM MODULE TO COURSE

Intensive Inversion & Advanced Variations takes the Inversion module and gives it room to breathe — 15 hours across five Sundays, instead of a single segment inside a larger course. That extra space matters. Inversions reward repetition and patience far more than they reward a single big push, and a standalone format lets Kru Jai build the kind of week-over-week progression that a shared module never had time for.

Kru Jai (Kamalesh Mahesh Za) has been practicing yoga since childhood, training under Prof. Pallavi Kahvane, a five-time World Yoga Champion. He went on to become a Yoga World Cup Gold Medalist and multi-time national and international champion, with formal training in physical education and yogic science backing the competition résumé. In class, that shows up as an emphasis on strength, precision, and steady, buildable progression — exactly what a five-week inversion arc calls for.

A FIVE-WEEK PROGRESSION, NOT FIVE RANDOM POSES

The course is structured to build, not just to showcase:

  • Week 1 lays the foundation — inversion safety principles, shoulder stabilization, and Sirsasana (Headstand), from classic form into the Arrow & Bow variation.
  • Week 2 moves to Pinchamayurasana (Forearm Stand), building directly on the shoulder work from Week 1, now without the head as a base of support.
  • Week 3 takes on Adho Mukha Vrksasana (Handstand) — full-body integration, kick-up progressions, and safe falling technique.
  • Week 4 is a Transitions & Troubleshooting Lab: linking Headstand, Forearm Stand, and Handstand together, working the jumpback lift to handstand and controlled returns to Chaturanga, and practicing the controlled descents that make advanced inversion work sustainable.
  • Week 5 is Peak Integration — Gandabherundasana (Chin Stand), Scorpion variations, and Lotus/Split integration for students ready to take it further, closing out the five-week arc.

By the final Sunday, students aren’t just holding poses they couldn’t hold in Week 1. They understand how each inversion supports the next — which is the difference between collecting tricks and building a practice.
